How 0DTE Confluence works

Step 1

Most 0DTE traders chase the move

Price is already moving, spreads are wide, and the tape feels urgent. That is usually the worst time to invent a thesis.

Step 2

Map the levels (where)

The Decision Desk shows live gamma rails — call wall, put wall, gamma flip, magnet — built from dealer positioning. Graded setups focus on SPY 0DTE; the board also maps QQQ and SPX.

A rail is not a trade. It is a place to watch. Mid-range chop with no structure produces no setup by design.

Step 3

Wait for confirmation (when)

The second hard gate is a closed 1-minute candle at that rail: rejection, reclaim, or momentum break — not a wick you hope will hold.

Anticipation is the leak. If the candle has not printed, there is no grade and nothing to chase.

Step 4

Grade the setup

When level + candle align, confluence scores the moment and assigns a letter grade (A+ or B, plus an invalidation level in SPY points.

• A+ — highest confluence at a rail (score 7–8/8)
• B — confirmed at a rail with score 6/8
• Below that — no setup; standing down is a position

Step 5

Use the Decision Desk — not just a ping

The product is the board: Map · Tape · Skew · Exposure · Replay. That is where structure and context live. Graded setups are what fires when the gates pass — on the desk (Pro Alert strip) and optionally in Discord channels.
