Morning desk — Confluence rails before the open

Around ~9:00 ET, Discord #morning-desk gets a one-glance bias card: where the day’s gamma rails sit, whether the lean is pin/fade or momentum, and how rich or cheap premium looks for long options. It is our self-built map — not a pasted third-party founder note.

Why a morning card exists

SPY 0DTE moves fast after 9:30. Traders who invent levels mid-open chase noise. The morning desk freezes a standing bias before the auction settles: which walls to respect, where the flip sits, and whether today looks like a tight pin day or a wide-range day. Live alerts still require a confirmed candle at a rail — the card does not fire trades by itself.

What’s on the card

Plain-English definitions of walls and flip: SPY 0DTE gamma walls explained.

Tier-0 bias vs live alerts

Think of the morning desk as Tier-0 — the map you do not re-debate every 30 seconds. During RTH, the scanner still needs:

  1. Price at a known rail (often the same walls from the morning card, refreshed live).
  2. A confirmed 1-minute candle.
  3. Enough confluence to grade A+ or B.

Bundle / Tape / API subscribers also get intraday rail refreshes on Decision Desk and GET /v1/rails/spy — morning numbers can drift after the open.
